Meat Church Birdbath Brine adds moisture and flavor to all your poultry. This is an excellent turkey and chicken brine. We recommend brining in a food container or brine bag for 1 hour per pound. The easiest thing to do is brine overnight. Rinse your poultry thoroughly after brining and dry it completely. That's all you need to deliver a moist, juicy turkey. However, feel free to add whole black peppercorns, citrus slices or herbs, etc. you want to give the flavor to your liking. Mixing Instructions: Chicken: Mix 1 cup brine with 1/2 gallon water, chicken broth, chicken stock, or your choice of liquid. some Turkey: Mix entire contents of package with 1 gallon of water or enough to completely submerge your turkey. Optional - You can warm the mixture in a saucepan to help dissolve the contents. Be sure to cool the mixture completely before submerging the poultry.
